Vacation Rental Description

This private villa in the Algarve, is situated on the outskirts of the delightful family oriented beach town of Carvoeiro. The villa is set back off a minor road in gardens and 6 acres of rustic land with cork oaks, almond, olive, pine, carob, and even a mulberry tree, all available to stroll around and keeping the property private and not overlooked, as the high quality villas in the area are dotted about the surrounding countryside with views down to the ocean only approximately 1.5kms away where the nearest sandy beach is the fishing cove of Benegil.

The Algarve villa is fully equipped with everything you need for that home away from home holiday that is relaxing and peaceful yet close to all the amenities of the Algarve only a very short drive to glorious sandy beaches which are picturesque and ideal for family activities. Within a short drive are water parks, Zoo Marine dolphin park,water sports, boat trips, horse riding, golfing and many other activities if you desire.

The house itself has four bedrooms three with twin beds and one double bedded room, with a cot/high chair available and also an extra bed to accomodate nine people the latter two at a small extra charge. All the bathrooms are en-suite except for the house bathroom which is situated adjacent to the bedroom it serves. There is one bedroom situated on the upper floor and three on the ground floor where there is a dining room stepping down in the living room with seating for ten people. satellite tv and a DVD player, there is also a radio/CD stereo and several board games and books. The kitchen has crockery ,cutlery, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, oven, hob, kitchen towels in fact all that you need and all bed linen and towels, except beach pool towels, also washing machine. Outside the arched portico is ideal for dining at lunchtime to be shaded from the hot sun or in the evening for those barmy warm nights looking out across the land towards the ocean. The terrace leads down a few steps, which can be gated for childrens' safety, to the pool area which has loungers and umbrellas with a barbeque and seating at one end. the pool being a good size for swimming as it is 10metres by 5 metres and can be heated from the solar panels at a small extra cost. A few steps lead up to the kitchen terrace and down to the table tennis area with a marble table and then out onto the land which you can stroll around and smell the pine trees and the wonderful aromatic plant that is typical of the Algarve.

About The Algarve Carvoeiro

The beach town of Carvoeiro is just a couple of minutes drive away and has restaurants, bars, banks, shops, bakeries etc. and in the summer months has live entertainment in the square adjacent to the beach. There is a large supermarket on the edge of town where everything you need is available. There are also restaurants dotted about the close surrounding area which always welcome children, several having specific children's areas for their amusement. The area has many golden sandy coves where you can explore the caves in brightly painted fishing boats or swim in the aqua blue waters. The port of Portimao is only 10 kms away which is famous for Sardines and you can take trips from here along the interesting coatline east and west or go out on a fishing trip to catch shark or just watch dolphins swimming and jumping in the clear Atlantic waters. There are also water sports available for those active people, who don't want to lie and relax and get that tan!

Two water parks are very close by and also zoos, Zoo Marine and Krazy World to keep the kids entertained. Lots of activies to take you to explore the countryside slightly inland with Jeep Safaries taking you to places where you wouldn't normally go. The Monchique area with the highest point on the western Algarve, Foia and the furthest point west in Europe, Cape St. Vincent with the first ever navigation school of Henry the Navigator where sailors set sail to discover the New World.

1. A 20% deposit is required on booking and the balance is due 8 weeks before the start date of the holiday. Winter rates can be negotiable and electricity and logs are extra

2. solar heating of the pool is €40 and cot/high chair €40 extra put u up €40 All bed linen and towels included but not beach/pool towels.
