Vacation Rental Description

The apartment is situated in the resort of Monte Dourado, located on a hill overlooking the up-market coastal village of Carvoeiro, in the central Algarve. Guests have the choice of five swimming pool areas and there are two tennis courts on site. The central location, within easy strolling distance to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants which make Carvoeiro such a popular destination, is the ideal setting for a perfect, relaxing family holiday. There is plenty of parking available in the resort.

The self-catering apartment, located on the 1st floor, consists of two bedrooms (one double, one twin), two bathrooms (one bath, one shower), a hall, a fully-equipped kitchen, a living/dining room plus a balcony and external drying area.

About The Algarve Carvoeiro

Carvoeiro was one of the Algarve's most typical fishing villages and became known to a wider audience in the 50's and 60's, when it attracted a fairly bohemian and artistic clientele. Today, Carvoeiro is undoubtedly one of the Algarve's most sought-after and up-market destinations with luxurious villas spreading towards both the east and west along its stunningly beautiful coastline. The centre of the village maintains its old world feel and there are literally dozens of restaurants, cafes and bars to cater for all tastes. 

Several superb beaches are within easy driving access and Carvoeiro is now firmly on the golf map, with three courses around the village and three more within 15 minutes drive. The immensely popular Carvoeiro Clube de Tenis is also only five minutes drive away. Within twenty minutes drive, there are the shopping facilities of Portimao, the historic centre of Silves, two water parks and the wonderful Zoomarine. Several vineyards are also now open to the public as part of a resurgent rebirth in one of the Algarve's traditional industries.
