Vacation Rental Description

Vista Bonita, a slice of Portuguese paradise. A new luxury one bedroom apartment on a small exclusive complex in the picturesqe village of Porches. Fantastic sea views, 2 lovely blue flag beaches only a 3 minute stroll away.  The two beaches are connected by a tunnel through the rocks. 

The apartment is furnished to a high standard and with its contempory decor, provides a luxurious, calming retreat. Both lounge and bedroom have large balconies with spectacular sea views. Here you can dine al fresco, and enjoy a bottle of local wine while watching the sun go down.

The complex boasts 3 swimming pools, 2 adult and 1 children's, tennis court, club house (due to open late summer), and secure parking.

There is a good selection of restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets, within a few minutes walk away. There is a large supermarket where you can stock up on all your provisions for your stay. We provide you with luxury bathrobes, slippers and beach towels leaving you more room in your suitcase for even more clothes!!!

About The Algarve Porches

Two of the Algarves finest beaches are only a 3 minute stroll away, the 2 beaches are linked by a tunnel which is cut into the rocks.  On top of the rocks sits the chapel of 'Nossa Senhora da Rocha' (Our Lady Of The Rock).  The origins of this pretty chapel are uncertain but what is known is that it was built with stones from ruins of Roman origin and that long ago it was an important place of pilgrimage, attracting the devout from distant lands.  Local fisherman used to pray here before setting off for a night's fishing and apparently this is where there was a vision of the Virgin Mary.

The chapel of Nossa Senhora da Rocha is famous throughout the Algarve, owing to it's unusually wonderful setting on the promontory which juts out into the sea flanked on both sides by two glorious sandy beaches.  A popular religious festival in glory of Nossa Senhora da Rocha takes place on 4th August each year.

Whilst on the beach you can watch the local fishermen bringing their catch, or better still why not sample the fresh fish at the beach restaurant, excellent food with stunning views.  You can also grab a quick snack at the snack bar or purchase drinks and ice cream.

During summer months there are boat trips to the nearby grottos, local fishermen will pass by as you laze on the beach ringing a bell to alert you that their boat is passing by, all you need to do is give them a wave and they will wait for you to make your way to the awaiting boat.

There are a selection of water parks within a 20 minute drive also zoo marine which is open all year round.  Algarve shopping, with a vast array of shops and restaurants and multi screen cinema is a 20 minute drive.

The Algarve was voted number one golf destination in the world 2006. So for golfers, there is plenty of courses to play, there is a number of excellent golf courses situated within a 5 minute drive, these include; Salgados, the magnificent championship courses of Pestana Vale da Pinta, Gramacho and Silves Golf, and many more 30 minutes away.
